The Walk is situated around the gazebo on the accessible bike/wheelchair trail where the staff, residents, their families and others from the community enjoy recreation and exercise or just pause for quiet reflection.

Once a year we host a dedication celebration when the new bricks are awarded
and laid and commemorative certificates presented to those honored or
to their families if the brick is a memorial. The walk continues to grow
and we are so proud to be able to offer our circle of friends and supporters
and other members of the community a place to honor special people in
their lives.
For a tax-deductible donation of $250 we will place an 8" X 4" engraved brick in the Walk where you can memorialize a loved one, show appreciation for friends, family, residents or Star staff, or celebrate a birthday, an anniversary or any other special event. While giving the gift of recognition to those you love, you will also be supporting the great programs of Star Community and what we offer to individuals with disabilities.
