King is leased to STAR to work in the therapeutic program. His main job when he came was to pull the wheelchair-accessible carriage STAR had made, but he has since proven to be a great therapy horse as well. His big size is perfect for STAR’s heavier riders, providing them with the opportunity to ride they might otherwise have missed. He’s over 20 years old and stands 16 hands tall.
