June is a 20-year old, black Tennessee Walking Horse mare who has been with STAR since September of 1998. Her sweet disposition and love of children make her quite an asset for STAR. She is an ideal therapy horse, understanding that disabled and new riders need a gentler ride than others. She loves treats and attention and will stand quietly for grooming sessions and other ground lessons. June was a show horse and a broodmare before coming to work at STAR.
