Health Care services at Star Community are provided with a commitment to supporting the resident in meeting his/her maximum physical, emotional, and social potential.  An on-site health care center is staffed Monday through Friday by a registered nurse, a licensed practical nurse and an administrative assistant.  In a collaborative and coordinating role, helath care for each resident is accomplished through nursing diagnosis, assessments, monitoring for changes inc ondition, managing medication, dietary evaluation, infection control, staff and resident education and comprehensive care planning with on-going evaluations.
 
These services are also provided to Star Ventures day program participants.  In addition, 24-hour nursing services is provided to Star Community residences.
