The health and well-being of each and every participant/ resident is of paramount importance to Star Community. An on-site health center is staffed by one RN and one LPN, and nursing assistance that is available 24-7.

Star Community's approach to health care is holistic . . . and the Health Center works closely with the residential and day program employees to see that individualized health care plans are followed and that the residents are supported in a way to ensure that their maximum physical, emotional, spiritual and social potential are realized. Diet and exercise plans are monitored closely to promote maximum wellness. In addition, Star Community has "partnered" with a team of physicians and therapists who have the expertise, insight and a phenomenal track record in working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
